The debate on the new appointed and retained cabinet secretaries has continued to generate varied opinions with 13 cabinet secretaries out.
Well ,the speculation by many that the Deputy president William Ruto wasn’t involved in the naming of the cabinet has arose fears of fall out in the Uhuru – Ruto government with many pundits arguing that the rush for service delivery and loyalty to the race for state house in 2022 might have been the recipe of the claimed fallout. Something that the Leader of majority in the National assembly Hon Aden Duale has differed with.
Reacting to a story ran by a local daily , Hon Duale shades those of opinion that the absence of H.E William Ruto during the naming of the first phase of cabinet ,sends a signal of division dispelling the rumours , the legislator assured Kenyans that the leaders are in good terms and are for the new cabinet nominees . ” We have one government which is led by president Uhuru Kenyatta .All of us including me and Dp William Samoei Ruto , are behind our leader and we endorse every decision he takes .Those who are speculating on the absence of the Dp want to create a controversy where there is none .They are still stuck in the old ways of the coalition government .our government is one and united ,.”wrote Hon Duale .
