The Masongaleni Ward mourns for a demise of their dedicated leader.
The sad news have been reported today about the death of an energetic and a visionary political leader who has been fighting for the rights of Masongaleni people in Makueni, Kibwezi East Sub county.
Mr David Tullo suffered a short illness and had rushed to hospital in Emali before the situation worsened whereby he died at Kibwezi Amref hospital in their efforts to seek for appropriate medication.
His close friend and a political protagonist Joseph Musyoka Sammy alias (Taa Wa Masongaleni) revealed saying Mr Tullo was great leader of Masongaleni people though he was beaten by Honourable Mumo in 2015 by elections after the death of honourable John Kilonzo aka Kiluma the first Masongaleni Ward MCA under the new constitution of 2010.
“Mr Tullo succumbed to death while on the way after a short illness before getting appropriate treatment. He had hospitalized at Kibwezi Amref hospital for treatment where he passed on while on the way this morning” said Joseph Sammy.
He added that both had close relationship since they shared ideas on how to bring more development to masongaleni people to better the community.
“Our relationship was more than just friends, we visited each other severally and shared bright ideas at his home in Katulye Iongoni Mukaange sub ward for our Masongaleni development even though we could slightly different in opinions and ideas sometimes, is a great leader we have lost as people of Masongaleni Ward, Rest In Peace Mr Tullo” concluded Sammy.
Mr Tullo aka Kasuni has been on forefront to championing for youth development and also for the disabled people not forgetting the elderly people.
