The last competition’s winner were Algeria after beating Senegal 1-0 in the Final in Egypt.
Jouseff Bounedjah scored the only goal in the 3rd minute of the game to grant Algeria the trophy.
Next year’s 2022 African Cup Of Nations will be held in Cameroon from January 9 to February 6 Comprising 24 teams which have been grouped in 6 groups, each group comprising of 4 teams. The groups have been arranged and the fixtures have been confirmed.
Below is a overview of the arranged groups.
- Burkina Faso
- Cape Verde
- Equatorial Guinea
- Guinea Bissau
- Ivory Coast
- Sierra Leone
Group B has contained all the three Guinea’s; Equatorial Guinea, Guinea and Guinea Bissau together with Ethiopia.
Group D is said to more deadly since it comprises Egypt, Cote D’ivoire, Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
