The Kenyan Ali Kiba Sagida Kenya
The strict Christian musician hails from the coastal area region where he traces his love from a young age .He comes from a strict Christian family of 9 siblings his father could not phantom his son being a musician this led him to adhere to the strict measure set by his father but things would change after his
father passed away which mean he could finally pursue his long time love for music .
His education background was not easy for father his dad passed away it became harder to fend for his fees and things went worse when a non profit organization that sponsored went short of funds when he was in form 2 but he made it .Sagida turned to manual labour as a source of income and it’s these construction sites that he would perfom his song to his fellow workmates who not only nick named him as Alikiba but also encouraged him to record music. This would led to him recording Vazuka &Chonde Chonde in 2018 ,in 2019 he released Njiwa &Ndege and his latest track dubbed Shadow.
Shadow is a song based of Sagida Kenya own musical dilemma that most upcoming musicians are faced with in the start of thier music careers. He narrates how we wants to make inthe industry but things are not going well for him making him wonder whether to stir up the music with beefs targeted at Well known musicians or to date a popular girlfriend in order to make headlines like the fellow musician do , comparing his presence inthe industry as a shadow or a drop of water inthe ocean.Shadow is an encouragement of artists thinking to quit music or use short cuts in order to make it which only yield short term results it encourages them to strive and work hard in thier craft for one day it shall pay off.
