President William Ruto’s administration is not taking any chances after Raila Odinga and his team vowed to stage a massive protest in the city that is likely to paralyze activities Kenyas capital.

The head of state over the week also vowed to protect the lives and livelihood of Kenyans as he warned the Azimio leader against any looting and disruption of Kenyan’s properties.

With preparations for the mass action already on a top gear, Ruto on the other hand has started to put his security team on high alert to deal with any form of lawlessness that might arise.

In the lasted report as posted by the Kileleshwa MCA Hon Robert Alai, the government has reportedly started deployment of contingent of police officers in the city and specifically around State House Nairobi.
According to the Azimio leader, the Ruto administration has allegedely deployed Rapid Deployment Unit (RDU) a lethal specialized force that is mostly used in high profile disturbed areas.
The MCA went ahead to share pictures of lories full of officers who are believed to be within 2kms around State House.
“Cowards have poured RDU all over. Radius of 2km from State House has police deployments.
These are cowards. Never seen a more fearful regime.
Even filling parastatals with tribesmen is a sign of insecurity. Maandamano Lazima!” Hon Robert Alai reacted.
Despite the threats from the government, the Azimio team seems to be more than determined to execute their planned action by all means and the Azimio leaders have vowed to pay the ultimate price if it has to be so.
“Even if you assassinate me, my spirit will live on. I am ready to pay the ultimate price for Kenyans.” Raila Odinga said in a public rally.
