On Wednesday 23rd March 2022, the NARC party leader Matha Karua officially joined Azimio, she had two options to chose from she was either to join the hustler nation or the Azimio la Umoja.

At the end Matha Karua decided to work together with Baba. The reunion of Matha Karua in Azimio is a sign of victory to the Azimio La Umoja coalition.

Baba went on to quote the main reason as to why Matha had to join them and not the hustlers.

In his statement the former prime minister stated that Matha had chosen the winning team, she had no choice because the difference between Azimio and Kenya Kwanza is like day and night.

In his statement Baba clearly proves that Matha decided to join Azimio because she had no option, she had to join the winning team which is Azimio.
