DRAMA AS BUSINESS MAN BEATS UP A TRAFFIC POLICE OFFICER

A man named Alex muthee has been arraigned in court for allegedly assaulting a police officer and beating him up.

Alex assaulted police constable Alphayo Mazayo who was controlling traffic along muindi mbingu street in Nairobi.

The milimani law court was told that the assault took place on 27 June.The accused appeared before justice Lucas Onyina of the milimani law courts.

Alex denied the charges and asked the court to be lenient with him . He was realesed on a cash bail of ksh 30, 000. The case is expected to be mentioned in a fortnight’s time.
