The Directorate of Criminal Investigation has arrested seven suspects dealing with drug trafficking.
The seven include one Pakistan national, one indian and five Kenyans . The seven were in a process of transporting the drugs.
The police searched the culprits residences and found 24 kilograms of cocaine and 1200 kilograms of ketamine in Ngara area in Nairobi.further search saw the detectives find several drums of changaa .
The police went on to counter a Toyota Xtrail number plate KDE 868N that was headed to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport ferrying 23 cartons of white powder suspected to be drugs.
The whole exercise was done by the anti narcotics unit in an attempt to eradicate abuse of drugs. This comes at a time the government led by deputy president Rigathi Gachagua is spearheading the arrest and eradication of illegal alcohol.
