Kidero Alleges How Martha Karua Costed Raila The Presidential Seat


Speaking on a local TV station Wednesday morning, former Nairobi governor Evans Kidero accused Narc-Kenya party leader Martha Karua of architecting Raila’s poll loss in 2007.

In the said year, Orange Democratic Movement (ODM staged a well oiled campaign against his PNU counterpart Mwai Kibaki.

Despite of all indications pinpointing to Raila presidency, Kibaki pulled a magical comeback but ODM rejected the results and this subsequently exposed the country to post-poll violence.


Kidero and team were discussing about poll integrity, the subject still remains a contentious issue and worth a mention it is among the key issues raised by Azimio One Kenya Coalition leaders.

Earlier the week, the question about the safety and integrity of Kenyan poll come to the fore this is after IEBC admitted that the commision lost hundreds of their gadgets among them laptops.


Despite of Azimio calling for extensive reforms in IEBC, president Ruto has remained on gear okaying the process of recruiting new commisioners.

He has also refused to compel the commision to open the servers and allow Azimio brigade to conduct an independent ascertain to justify their doubts.
