Finally money for schools is out🥳

School heads have a reason to smile after the government released the much awaited funds .This sounded a relief to many school heads as they were on the verge of closing the schools indefinitely.The money was disbursed 4 weeks after schools opened.

The government released ksh24 billion to the schools. This is ksh4B short of the expected target of 28B.The CS Education Ezekiel machogu has however apologized on behalf of the government for the delay.He promised that all schools will have the money in their respective accounts by next week.

Principals have had to run on debt and deficit amounts. KESSHA chair stated that they were happy that the money was finally released though not adequate. The delicate Junior secondary schools received ksh4B to support it’s growth.

Parents were also happy saying that they were afraid that their children would be sent home suspecting the schools would run bankrupt.Some said that they had to contribute much more after the school heads complained of having inadequate sums
