‘From Grass to Grace❤️🥳’, Sabina Chege’s Life Story In Details

Former women representative for Murang’a county is a perfect example for a “From grass to grace story”. Hailing from Murang’a county in a family of 9 children, she is the last born.After her high school education, she had two options, of either picking tea or being a house girl in Nairobi.she chose the latter.

While working as a house girl, she saw the program Tausi which used to air on KBC. Prompted by the fact that she was an actress back in high school, She tried her luck.. Fortunately she was lucky.She also did some marketing.When she was in her first year in the university, she was already in her fourth job

when she was in her first year , she landed her job as a broadcaster at kameme FM.. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education, two masters degrees and is now in her PhD program.

Her passion to help others having gone through the challenges many were undergoing led her to politics.She vied for the woman representative seat in Murang’a county for the first time in 2013 and to her surprise she won.It was a post that she held even for the second term till 2022.

While in office, she fought for justice of her people, bringing policies that could help the citizens.She declined the offer of being Nairobi’s deputy governor in order to support former president Uhuru Kenyatta.She was later nominated to the national assembly by her jubilee party.

Sabina runs a foundation which helps the Less privileged to complete their high school education.Her story continues to inspire many.
