GSU officer found dead in Ruaka

Police in Ruaraka area in Nairobi are investigating the cause of the death of a police officer in the General Service Unit GSU department.

The officer was found dead in his house in Ruaraka. Neighbours were distracted by the stinking smell coming from the house. 

They informed the managers of the area who alerted the police. The police found the house closed from inside and were forced to break into the house.

On entering, they found his body lying on the bed. His colleague officers say they had not seen him for three days. 

His body was moved to the mortuary awaiting autopsy to reveal the cause of his sudden death.
