AfroJan was then signed at Ksh 1.5 Million recording deal similar to that of Masauti back then.
They worked together with Producer Motif for several months.

“I got a deal worth 1.5 million shillings a recording deal at Melwood studios together with Masauti under producer Motif” said Official AfroJan.
Unexpected then happened. They had a listening party in order to select some of songs for video production and they managed to pick a few songs including Nurulain by Masauti.
The plan to met Diamond Platnumz director back then, Hanscanna was all set.
“My biggest challenge I got is when it was my turn to have my music videos then my boss lost his dad back in Cameroon, so he had to travel. All my projects had to be postponed, he never came back and that’s how I lost my contact. I have never again gotten such a deal” said AfroJan.

Nevertheless, Official AfroJan has had opportunity to meet up big celebrities like Timaya, Wizkid Ayo, Gospel In The Beat, also collaborated with Mbilia Bel as well as performed shows outside Kenya, Berlin Germany.

Since 2018 the Melwood studios ran out of business after the boss went missing.
“Everyday I struggle to keep up with the system. Its been 3 years now and I’m still on this road to success” concluded AfroJan.
