Water and sanitation Cabinet secretary Alice wahome has come to her defense after Kenyans accused her of being the female CS has been involved in the Karen house saga.
Alice addressed the issue saying” look for someone else .” I am not the one ,I am not looking for a house to live in” part of her post read.Alice is currently in Egypt to represent Kenya on the African ministers council on water conference.
The unsaid CS occupied the house when the owners were outside the country.Other Kenyans have shifted their eyes on labour CS Florence Bore who has also been outside the country for international labour conference.Wahome clarified that she’s not looking for a house to live in.
The house in question belongs to a member of Parliament from Murang’a county. The spouse to the Mp Mary Muriu said that the CS offered ksh 90 million to buy the house but the couple declined saying the house was valued at ksh 120 million.
Mary explained that they had travelled to the united States for their daughter’s graduation only to come and find the house occupied.She asserted that the house still belongs to them since no transaction was made or any agreement signed.
