Former mungiki leader Maina Njenga has dismissed the claims that he is not in good terms with deputy president Rigathi Gachagua.
The two are alleged not to be seeing each other eye to eye after deputy president Rigathi Gachagua said that Njenga has a plan to revive the mungiki gang.
The criminal gang rose during the 2007 post election violence. The gang which had its roots from Mt Kenya region , caused chaos around the country.
He further dismissed the claims that he wants to be the kingpin of Mt Kenya region.Njenga had been arrested in may and interrogated by the police over the claims of reviving the group.
On his part, Maina said he has no problem with Gachagua. He also said he is not interested in being the kingpin of the Mt. Kenya region. According to him , he is past that.
Gachagua put pressure on the police to swiftly dismiss any criminal gangs being created saying he would not allow them.
