JUSTICE FOR BABY SAGINI

Senior resident magistrate Christine Ogweno has found the relatives to baby sagini guilty of physiscally harming him in kissi.Baby sagini’s eyes were gouged out in kisii county.

The prime suspects were his grand mother Rael Nyakerario, his aunt pacifica Nyakerario and his cousin Alex Ochogo.

The grandmother had however denied the charges of assaulting his grandson. He however claimed that he had beaten up the young boy after defacating in the family saucepan.

She explained that this might have scared the boy hence he ran away.she claimed that this is when sagini was attacked by his torturers.

The Margistrate questioned what kind of relatives they were. She qustioned how they were able to throw a party of a local brew while baby sagini was groaning in pain blood bleeding from the child’s eyes.

His eyes were gouged out and placed in a sack and put behind his bed. This was such a heinous act beyond humanity.
