KEN WAKURAYA ARRESTED

Inooro tv news anchor Ken wakuraya has opened up on the situations resulting to his arrest and that of his band on Saturday evening.

Ken who is also a music artists was entertaining his audience at a popular club in Kasarani.

His arrest led to kenyans igniting a heated debate on social media.Wakuraya addressed his fans on his Facebook page on the unfortunate occurrence.

He thanked his followers for the concern they showed when he was detained at the police cells.

He explained that he was arrested because he was unable to raise ksh 20,000 as asked by the men in uniform. He questioned the circumstances under his arrest.

In his post, he asked why he was arrested while criminals are roaming free.He posted while in the police vehicle saying he did not know where the police were taking him.

He also shared videos live on his Facebook page of their situation during the awful ordeal.

His arrest raised a debate on how artists are being handled by police officers. It also raised concerns among fellow artists on their security in the hands of law enforcers .
