KITHURE AGREES THAT THE GOVERNMENT IS TO BLAME FOR THE MASS SHAKAHOLA DEATHS

Interior Cabinet secretary Kithure Kindiki has agreed that the government was guilty regarding the Shakahola mass deaths.


The deaths are liked to pastor Paul Mackenzie . Kindiki said that some of police officers are to blame for the deaths.

Kindiki said that he also believes that some judiciary officers have a case to answer.

During his appearance before the parliamentary committee investigating the matter he said the Mackenzie was not new to the police records.

He has previously been arrested and arraigned in court but he was released.In the first instance, he was released by the court saying that he had no case to answer.

In the second instance , he was arrested after it was realized he gave false teachings to school going children. He was released from the court telling him to be of good conduct.

Kindiki continued to say that mackenzie will be a lesson to all other culprits hiding in any religion.The death toll has now risen to 351 . The number is expected to rise as exhumation continues.
