Man arrested for stealing in Mosque😱

Mohammed Jabir aged 46 has been arrested by police from the Central Police Station and arraigned in court for stealing a shoe worth 10,000 from a fellow worshiper in Jamia mosque .

The complainant Abdi Mohammed told the court that on that particular day he had gone to visit his friend and then passed by the mosque on Friday evening as a usual thing.He removed one of his shoes and left it on the bar and went with the other.

After completing his prayers, he went to get his shoe .To his utter shock, it was stolen. He informed the management of the mosque who resolved to buy him another pair of shoes.

Abdi who is also a student at MKU expressed his shock after his valuable asset went missing.

Jabir was captured by a CCTV camera in the mosque picking the shoe before leaving. The police indicate that Jabir had visited the mosque a couple of times.

Jabir appeared before milimani chief Magistrate Lucas Onyina where the police rolled out the CCTV footage.
