Messi The G.O.A.T Finally Leaves Nou Camp Barcelona!

According to Barcelona Lionel Messi has officially been confirmed to have left the Nou Camp.

The club has been blamed to letting go of the G.O.A.T following La Liga’s financial regulations deliberately forced the star out of the club.

After his expiring of his previous deal on July 1st , Messi was widely expected to sign a new deal with the club.

However, the club has come out officially to announce that clubs’s record scorer will no longer be linked to the club and will be available on a free transfer.

On the club’s official website, it published a statement that read; “Despite having reached an agreement between FC Barcelona and Leo Messi and with the clear intention of both parties to sign a new contract today, it cannot be formalized due to economic and structural obstacles (Spanish LaLiga regulations).

Messi is expected to leave Barcelona this summer, the club have confirmed .

Messi was about to leave Barca last summer having believed he was entitled to walk away due to a clause in his contract, only to end up staying on for another year.

After he had agreed for another new five –years deallast month, but Barca’s financial issues meant that the club weren’t able to complete negotatiations without falling foul of financial fair play regulations.
