Kilimani high end restaurant and club has been closed following violation of NEMA regulations.
According to the report, Oyster Bay Club has failed to adhere to Nairobi county and National Environment Management Agency (NEMA) over noise pollution.

Catherine Thaithi, Director at NEMA said the club had been issued with several notices over their excessive noise pollution since their neighbourhood community have complaint a lot over the same issues. During the closure, Catherine Thaithi said the club has to come up with Sound Proof strategy or find out how to control their loud music from disturbing lives of other people living next to the club since it’s an open club.
Its also confirmed that, the club management had fails to adhere to the polices and notices issued to them earlier on until they saw the NEMA come close their business down just a few hours to a long weekend of Easter Holiday.

Several other clubs in Nairobi county ade facing the same closure due to loud music and noise pollution according to Director, NEMA.
