Police Constable shoots wife then turns gun on himself

Tragedy hit Bondo police post after the the police constable in the station sadly shot his own wife . The officer shot his wife after having a domestic flight.

The constable Michael Kyalo shot his wife and later took his own life. Brenda was rescued at the police station and taken to the Bondo subcounty hospital.

An immediate surgery which was necessary was conducted where she responded well to the treatment. She however developed complications later . There was a need for a second surgery but she succumbed before it.

Brenda’s mother said that her daughter was complaining about her husband. She said that he had been going out of late for about two months.

She was determined to change her husband but he was reluctant and aggressive towards her. When she realized that her daughter was about to pass away, she rushed to the nearby parish to get a priest but on returning she found her already dead .

The deceased ; Brenda kimanzi was shot in the thigh . A surgery conducted on her revealed that she had a perforated gut and intestines.

The police have been asked to be peaceful and avoid using their firearms wrongly.
