Kenyan Legend and Ex Rugby 7’s team dies while in hospital receiving treatment.

Benjamin Ayimba who was a former Kenya Rugby Player dies today on Friday at 8PM at Kenyan National Hospital after he succumbed to Cerebral Malaria.

Ayimba has had a successful career as a Kenya Rugby Head Coach and managed to set unbreakable record in year 2016 at Singapore Seven’s.

He scooped trophy in World Rugby Seven’s Series in Singapore Seven’s after beating Fiji 3-7.

Ayimba was first admitted in January but later he was discharged but the condition reappeared in mid March when he was transferred from Avenue Healthcare Hospital to KNH (Kenyatta National Hospital).

Condolences messages from great leaders in Kenya likes of Raila Odinga, Uhuru Kenyatta, Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr have been sent to his family and friends.

He had just been appointed as technical director to Kenya Rugby League that had just started.

RIP Legendary Benjamin Ayimba.
