ROBBERY WITH VIOLENCE SUSPECTS ARRESTED

The Directorate of Criminal Investigation DCI officers gave arrested one suspect named Ezekiel Kiarie

The suspect has been linked to the ongoing cyber security robberies and robbery with violence cases .

The young man was nabbed by the officers when he was ferrying his family to his home village in Nyandarua county in attempt to flee the city.

During his arrest, two pistols were recovered ; a ceska pistol armed with two rounds of ammunition and a CZ P – 07 Pistol armed with 12 rounds of ammunition.

The guns have been linked to various mpesa shop robberies and other from bank accounts.

The police intercepted the vehicle they were in ; a Mitsubishi canter with registration number KAM 231J.

His friend was also arrested on the same scene to aid in investigation.
