The Deputy President has responded to to the government over its alleged plan to evict him from his Karen home.
Reports emerged that the state department of the public works is preparing to issue a vacate notice to the deputy president William Ruto, inorder to allow renovations.
According to to the sources the renovation preparation for the next occupant of the next DP in office.

The Deputy President responded to the reports and claimed that it would be unfair for the government to focus on renovating his official residence at a time when the country is experiencing a hard economic situation.
The DP expressed his confidence of becoming the next president of Kenya come August polls, Ruto asked the state not to bother in renovating his Karen Mansion at the moment
Ruto went on further to claim that renovating his house isn’t a priority, the priority is to sort out the 3 million Kenyans who are sleeping hungry.
