RUTO’S PRESIDENTIAL ESCORT ACCIDENT

A luxurious presidential escort unit vehicle Toyota Lexus was involved in an accident earlier today in Naivasha.

Witnesses say the vehicle was trying to negotiate a sharp corner. Unfortunately, the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle rolled and overturned as the driver lost control.Four members of the presidential escort unit sustained injuries from the incident.

The president ,William Ruto was however not in the vehicle. He flew to and from Naivasha to flag off the 2023 WRC safari rally in Naivasha.The safari rally competition has been revived recently to bring back Kenyan spirit.

The situation was swiftly manged by the heavily armed General Service Unit GSU officers and the presidential escort team . Those injured were rescued and taken to hospital and are now in stable condition according to police report .
