The governor narrated how school going children went to school hungry because their parents could not afford their meals.

President Ruto was in attendance.The county boss gave an example of some schools that operate as churches on sunday, on mondaythey are converted to schools and on Tuesday they are used to hold youth meetings.

The governor who narrated the incidents from his heart was determined to change the situation in Nairobi schools.He painfully explained the challenges the children face.

He at one point could not resist but let his emotions get the better part of him.He broke into tears explaining the deplorable condtions the young generation is living in.

Mlango kubwa MCA walked to the podium to comfort the Governor .Another person gave the governor a handkerchief to wipe his tears.Sakaja said the programe must work. He further said that the former governments had done injustice to Nairobi students fotr bot giving them good conditions for them to study from.
