Sakaja denies claims of spending night in police custody

Last night at 01:00 hours, it is alleged that the youthful Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja was arrested and spend a better part of the night in police custody.

The Senator spent the night at Kilimani Police Station after they were arrested at a local club along Dennis Pritt Road dubbed Ladies Lounge while under the influence of drugs.

It is alleged that some of the people who were with the senator escaped. The Senator’s phone is said to have been switched off till morning, a source revielled.

Despite Senator Sakaja being the chairman of the Senate Covid-19 Response Committee, he was however got breaking the curfew rules where all are required to be at their various homes by 9 PM.

However, the senator in his Twitter account came out to deny the claims stating that he had never been arrested and will never be arrested asking his accusers to show the OB (Occurrence Book) which is used to store details at police stations.
