SYLVANUS OSORO:WE USED CROOKED MEANS TO PASS THE FINANCE BILL

Fresh details from the majority chief whip of the national assembly Sylvanus Osoro reveal that the Kenya kwanza camp used crooked means to pass the finance bill in Parliament.

Osoro who is the member of Parliament for south Mugirango constituency, unravelled the events leading to the passing of the bill on the floor of the national assembly.

Osoro said that the government used a lot of money to swing the Azimio la Umoja coalition members of Parliament to join them in passing the bill.

Osoro said that he had to look for ways ethical or unethical to get the numbers he needed to pass the bill. He revealed that they planned on how to get some members of the Azimio coalition absent on the day of voting to attain the right numbers.

He also went in to reveal that some members were also sponsored to go abroad so as to avoid the voting. Others were bribed to vote in favour of the bill while others were paid to feign sicknesses.

This has raised a concern on the integrity of the members of Parliament, who should uphold it at every moment. They fail to respect the very constitution that mandates them to work as Parliamentarians.
