President Ruto’s executive has been allocated Sh2.2 trillion in the Sh3.7 trillion budget for the next financial year.
In the 2022-23 budget, the executive was allocated Sh2 trillion out of Retired President Uhuru’s Sh3.39 trillion budget.

In next year’s budget, President Ruto’s government plans to source Sh588.5 billion within while Sh131.5 will come from international lenders.
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has been tasked to collect Sh3 trillion in the next financial year up from the Sh2 trillion collected in 2022-23.
