UASINGISHU PARENTS DEMAND FEES REFUND AFTER FINLAND SCHOLARSHIP SCUM

Residents of Uansigishu county have held demonstrations at the kapseret subcounty offices for what they said the county government had defaulted to fulfill the promise.

The county government started an education program to take students in universities abroad. The parents were asked to contribute an amount of more than ksh one million each.

Some of the target countries included Finland and Canada. Some students expected to enrol in the institutions as early as January this year while others expected to join the university last year.

Due to the delays some universities have cancelled the program and now won’t allow the students

They had an appointment with the county government officials but they say the officials have been playing a hide and seek game with them.

They now demand the county government to refund them their money as they do not want any further discussions regarding the issue saying the county government is untrustworthy.

What do you think?
