It’s quite unfortunate for the late Dr Joseph Pombe Magufuli not have finished his second term in office when he met his death.

Indeed, His Excellency Pombe Magufuli had just been re elected in last year 2020 Tanzanian general elections but three months down the line, he is no more.

As the Tanzanian government prepares for his Fare Thee Well and burials on March 25, they have also swon in his vice president, Honourable Mama Samia Suluhu Hassan to assume the office as the President in order to complete his term (Magufuli) could have served as Democratic republic of Tanzania President.

Mama Samia Suluhu oath of office has been conducted today at 10am East Africa Time in Dar Es salaam before Chief Justice Prof.Ibrahim Juma.

Her Excellency Mama Samia Suluhu will carry on the duties of the President from today and she also awaits appoint her Vice President probably from Tanzania Mainland since she comes from Zanzibar Island.

Being the sixth president in Tanzania, she has received many congratulations and well wishing notes from different leaders and celebrities across the world.
